About Our Client
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager for an international automotive manufacturing company. The role carries full responsibility for the operational, financial, and organizational performance of the production plant. This is a senior leadership position with direct influence on plant strategy, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for plant operations, including production, logistics, maintenance, quality, and HSE.
  • Achievement of production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Leadership, development, and performance management of the plant management team.
  • Implementation and continuous improvement of Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence standards.
  • Budget ownership, cost control, and capital investment management (CAPEX).
  • Ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949), and legal regulations.
  • Risk management, workplace safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Regular reporting of KPIs and plant performance to senior management.
  • Collaboration with customers and suppliers on strategic initiatives and escalations.
Candidate Profile
  • University degree (preferred in engineering or manufacturing).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in leading a production plant or a major manufacturing unit.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, KPI-driven management, and process optimization.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing large teams.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
